A Orthodontics is a 4th year subject. During the two semesters, students learn about the different dental and sceletal anomalies, their origins and the causes of their development. In theoretical and practical education the students learn about different diagnostic methods and accordingly to that the different treatment options. The removable (extraoral and intraoral) and fixed appliances and their application are presented. During lectures and practices we put great emphasis on introducing prevention methods. The aim is to emphasize the role of general dentists in preventing the development of different anomalies.
